A clear rectangular cover and separate display base provide a reference format for model-car retail displays. Specify the objects, usable clearance, base finish and order quantity for your project.

Material and construction choices
Inside fit and panel thickness
Specify clear inside dimensions separately from outside limits. Record the base, walls, lid and inserts as individual parts: increasing wall thickness reduces the cavity unless the outside size changes. Wider covers and long flower boxes also need a span and support review.
Clear, colored and printed faces
Choose the faces that must remain clear for viewing and the surfaces that carry branding. Compare clear or colored acrylic with the actual contents. For printing or engraving, approve the viewing side, artwork margin and its relationship to seams, hinges and removable inserts.
Openings and separate components
Lift-off covers, hinged lids and open compartments solve different access needs. Identify any base substrate, hinge, magnet, foam or lining separately. A transparent box photograph does not establish UV filtering, airtight storage, direct food-contact suitability or a tested stacking load.

Quantity, samples and delivery
Quote each configuration
List quantities by inside size, opening, color and insert. Ask for comparable prices at the quantities you can actually order; MOQ and setup are confirmed for that configuration. A reference photograph and a rough size can start the discussion before a detailed drawing is available.
Approve fit and access
Trial the complete item, including its stand, wrapping or protruding parts. Operate the lid or remove the cover, inspect visible seams and edges, and record the agreed fit and artwork. A closed empty box is not a sufficient sample check for a populated display.
Separate presentation from transit
Identify how cover, base and insert travel, with scratch separation and support at corners. State whether an individual gift pack is also required. Destination, carton limits and the receiving date belong in the quotation alongside the selected shipping arrangement.

Questions before you order
Do I order by inside or outside dimensions?
Give both when there is an outside limit. The inside dimensions determine object fit; panel thickness, seams, base and lid overlap determine the finished outside size. Mark which dimensions are critical so a change in sheet thickness does not quietly reduce usable space.
Which lid should I choose for a display case?
Choose a lift-off cover when it can be lifted clear and placed safely nearby. Choose a hinged format when an attached opening suits repeat access and there is room for its full movement. The actual item must pass through the opening without tilting into an edge.
Can you quote several box sizes in one enquiry?
Yes. List the quantity, opening, color, insert and artwork for each version. We coordinate a version-by-version quotation and sample scope. Different sizes may need separate material layouts and packing even when the decoration is shared.
Are these cases dustproof or UV protective?
Those properties are not established by a clear cover or a hinged lid. Describe the protection you need so the material, gaps, opening and any testing can be reviewed. UV-filtering sheet and a defined sealing system are separate specification decisions.
What determines the minimum order and sample cost?
Size, acrylic thickness, opening hardware, inserts, decoration and the number of versions affect setup and material use. Send the intended quantities for a project quotation; the sample cost, approval scope and production schedule are confirmed with that specification.
What should a custom plexiglass display case quotation include?
Provide contents dimensions, usable inside space, the base and opening arrangement, proposed material and thickness, visible finish and packing. Include quantity and destination so the quotation covers the complete enclosure rather than an unqualified outside size.
