Plan an acrylic flower box with holes

Florists and event-display teams can arrange stems along a clear rectangular box with a removable perforated insert. Choose the flower heads and stem bundles before fixing hole count or pitch. A longer box changes insert flex, base support and packing; water use is a separate specification to confirm.

Construction and customization

Structure and access: A long open flower box uses a removable perforated insert to position stems. Lift the insert to arrange or clean the interior, then seat it over the cavity.
Material, thickness and finish: Specify acrylic base, wall and perforated-insert thickness independently. Hole diameter, pitch and the material left between holes must suit the stem bundle and chosen box length.
Fit and use: Longer versions need a review of base support and insert flex. Confirm wet or dry use, stem fit, filled stability and leak checking instead of assuming every length shares the same performance.

Arrange representative stems through the insert and check head spacing, removal and base stability. For agreed wet use, review the filled sample and leak-check record. Inspect packing support for both the long box and the separate insert.

How should we choose the stem-hole spacing?

Provide the stem diameters, bundle size and desired flower-head spacing. The insert drawing must show hole diameter, pitch and the material between holes, with a trial arrangement to check whether heads overlap or stems are squeezed.

Can these boxes be used with water?

State wet or dry use explicitly. Water use needs a defined joint construction, filled stability review and an agreed leak check on the selected sample. The flower arrangement in a reference image does not establish tested water storage.

Can the insert be removed for arranging flowers?

The reference uses a separate perforated insert. Confirm its lifting clearance, seating detail and access with the flowers fitted. An insert should be checked for handling and cleaning as well as the appearance of its hole pattern.
