Retail counters and workstations can sort small packaged supplies into a fixed four-by-three grid. The useful specification is the clear space inside each cell, not just the twelve-compartment label. Map the actual supplies to the cells and allow for folded tags, finger room and items projecting above the open box.

An open box is divided into a fixed 4 × 3 grid of twelve cells. Supplies are lifted vertically and there are no individual lids or drawers.
Material, thickness and finish
The listed PMMA assembly uses 3 mm walls and dividers with a 4 mm base. The approximately 71 mm clear cells depend on divider layout and joints; logo artwork can remain on an outside face.
Fit and use
Objects wider than a cell or labels projecting from packs can catch at the dividers. Trial all twelve positions and grip access with the actual supplies, not a count-only packing list.

What to review in a sample

Fill all twelve cells with actual supplies and remove an item from a central position. Inspect divider joints, finger clearance and low-fill access, then check that the smallest item stays in its assigned cell during the agreed handling.

Questions for this format

Are all twelve compartments removable?

The listed format uses fixed dividers in a four-by-three layout. Removable inserts would be a different component design and should be identified separately in the custom drawing and quotation.

Does the outside width tell us what fits a cell?

No. Outside walls and dividers occupy part of that width. Use clear internal cell dimensions and trial the widest complete package, including tags or labels, with space for gripping and removal.

Can the grid be changed for a product assortment?

Yes. Send the item dimensions and map their positions. Different divider spacing, cell counts or heights need a revised drawing, with the material and supply scope confirmed for that version.
